We brought the Anchor Boy session a close on May 9th with our prizegiving ceremony celebrating the boys’ achievements over the course of the year.
All of the boys took home prizes, with a special mention for Joshua McAlpine for achieving Perfect Attendance during the session.
We also promoted a large number of boys to Junior Section – Fraser McBride, Freddie Neilson, Jamie Dunlop, Sam McElhinny, Joshua Hill, Aaron MacLeod, Joshua McAlpine and Kerr Young all made the step up and we wish them all the best for what lies ahead.
It means we’ve got plenty of room for new faces as we look ahead to next session and we’re happy to receive enquiries for boys going into P1, P2 or P3 at any point over the summer.
We rounded things off with our end-of-session day trip to Almond Valley Heritage Park alongside Junior Section on May 16h.
It proved to be a hugely enjoyable trip with plenty for boys to do across the venue from the various farm animals to making use of all the play areas throughout the site.
