Thanks go to everyone who attended the Service for Uniformed Organisations in mid-March.
It was a welcome opportunity to bring all three sections of the Company together and share in morning worship, and we were pleased to make it outside for the march past in between the rain showers.
There have been plenty of other activities happening in recent weeks including district competitions against other local companies. Congratulations to Daniel and Duncan Gillatt who each won gold in their age groups at the District Tenpin Bowling Competition, and to Ollie Leitch who finished third in the juniors.
Further congratulations to Daniel who took home silver at the seniors’ District Badminton Competition at Scotstoun, and to Harris Miller who also won silver in the junior age group.
March also saw our four most senior boys attend their King’s Badge Residential Course at Lapwing Lodge near Paisley, where they joined around 50 other boys from across Glasgow to complete one of the final requirements for gaining the highest award in the Brigade.
We hope to see them presented with that award at our 118th Annual Inspection and Display, which takes place in the large hall on Friday, 15th May beginning at 7:00pm and to which everyone is warmly invited.
