It’s been a busy spell for the Junior Section, with plenty still to look forward to before the Christmas holidays.
We were delighted with the strong turnout at the recent church service, and pleased that the weather stayed dry long enough for a march past afterwards. The boys thoroughly enjoyed taking part, and it was a great opportunity for them to represent the Company.
Later in the month, we headed to Bearsden Ski Centre for an evening of tubing – a twist on sledging, but with rubber rings on the dry ski slope! Despite the rain making an appearance, the wetter surface only helped to make the runs even faster and more fun.
As December approaches, our attention turns to Christmas activities, crafts and celebrations. We’re also looking forward to joining our Anchor Section for a trip to the King’s Theatre to see this year’s pantomime, The Little Mermaid.
Finally, on behalf of all boys and leaders at Junior Section, we would like to wish everyone a peaceful Christmas and an enjoyable New Year.
