With Company Section taking a bit of time off due to the September Weekend and the October holidays, the highlight of recent weeks has been a visit to the TopGolf driving range which took place early in October.
The standard of golf on display could be described as mixed at best, ranging from boys who had a good bit of golfing experience to others who were swinging a club for the very first time – leaders included.
But regardless of standards, a fun time was had by all and it’s likely to be an activity we return to in future.
November is shaping up to be a busier month with the District Laser Quest competition, and the first Service for Uniformed Organisations of the session to look forward to, meaning our Bugle Band will be working on rehearsals in the coming weeks. We’ll also be looking to make progress with a number of boys working on their King’s Badges and President’s Badges at the moment, including many hoping to gain these awards at the end of the session.
