We brought the Anchor Boy session a close in May with our prizegiving ceremony celebrating the boys’ achievements over the course of the year.
All of the boys took home prizes including a number who won attendance awards. A special mention goes to Craig Maxwell and Roham Hazraty who achieved Perfect Attendance.
We were also delighted to promote no less than 10 boys from Anchor Boys to Junior Section. This means we’ll have plenty of space at the beginning of next session to welcome new members, and we’re happy to receive enquiries for boys going into P1, P2 or P3 at any point over the summer.
We rounded things off with our end-of-session day trip to Almond Valley Heritage Centre alongside Junior Section on 20 May.
It proved to be a hugely enjoyable trip with plenty for boys to do across the venue from a museum and a train ride to various animals and play areas. The weather was also in our favour as it stayed dry without being too hot.
