In the last few weeks, Anchor Boys have enjoyed a wide range of activities during their Friday night meetings with more to come in the next few weeks.
Each week follows a different theme with boys taking part in sports, games, storytelling, arts and crafts based around that theme.
The topics can vary, with recent themes including ice cream, which saw boys making their own ice cream pictures using puffy paint, the importance of recycling and keeping plastics out of our seas, during which we learned there’s thought to be five trillion bits if plastic in the ocean, and a week spent learning the parable of The Sower and the Seed.
At the end of October boys had their Halloween Fancy Dress Party, during which they took part in a whole series of party games, and we’re looking forward to being part of the Remembrance Sunday service and parade on 13 November.
