Junior Section has now resumed its regular activities and is looking forward to a busy programme of competitions and events in the run-up to Easter.
Before Christmas, the Junior Section joined with the Anchor Boys for their annual pantomime outing to the King’s Theatre. This year’s trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all – a lively performance of The Little Mermaid.
Friday night meetings are once again in full swing, with the boys engaging enthusiastically in their badgework, alongside figure marching practice and a range of fun games and activities. To mark Burns’ Night, the boys also took part in a Scottish-themed quiz, testing their knowledge of traditional Scots words with mixed success and plenty of laughter along the way.
Looking ahead, the Junior Section will be taking part in the District Ten Pin Bowling competition, as well as the General and Bible Knowledge Quiz and the Figure Marching competition in the months to come.
