As we approach Easter, the Junior Section is gearing up for an exciting and eventful period, with a variety of competitions and activities on the horizon.
The District Ten-Pin Bowling competition takes place at the start of the month, whilst we plan to host the District Figure Marching competition, welcoming groups from around the area.
Meanwhile, our Friday night badgework continues to be a highlight, with recent activities including unihoc, a new game called Battle Balls and learning the origins of Shrove Tuesday – including the opportunity to make some pancakes!
A key date in our calendar is Sunday, March 15, when we will take part in the second Uniformed Organisations service of the session. We look forward to gathering together for the service and hopefully some spring sunshine for the parade afterwards.
