As February got under way, we welcomed two other local companies to the church for the Big Battalion Quiz, which saw teams of boys across Glasgow at various venues answering the same set of questions to see whose general knowledge is up to scratch. Some of the questions proved a bit tricky for some teams but a good time was had by all.
That was followed by a Company go-karting trip to the indoor track in Clydebank, with boys and leaders showing their speed – such was the competitiveness on display that the top three drivers were separated by just two thousandths of a second!
Later in February, boys will be visiting Scotstoun for the District Badminton Competition, shortly followed by the District Tenpin Bowling Competition in early-March.
We’ve got one eye on the next Service for Uniformed Organisations which takes place on Sunday, 15 March, and we’d ask everyone to note that our 118th Annual Inspection and Display will take place in the large hall on Friday, 15 May.
