Early in February, a handful of our Company Section boys joined our Junior Section for an evening of go-karting in Clydebank.
A great time was had by all, with plenty of competition on show and with leaders also trying to stay in front of younger members.
Further events are on the horizon in the coming weeks, including the District Badminton Competition later this month, and the District Senior Five-a-Side Football early next month.
Our regular Friday nights continue as normal, with recent weeks seeing boys take part in a District-wide online quiz covering a range of topics, and enjoying some of our regular games such as Unihoc and Dodgeball.
We’re also beginning work on the drill item which will feature at our 116th Annual Inspection and Display, to be held in the large hall on Friday, 17 May, and the Bugle Band is practising for that and for our next Service for Uniformed Organisations, taking place on 17 March.
Looking even further ahead, we’ve confirmed plans for Summer Camp 2024. Boys will be visiting the Craggan Outdoor Centre on the banks of Loch Tay from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 August, and we’re hoping for a similarly successful weekend to last year.
