In the last few weeks some of the more familiar BB activities have been featuring as part of our regular Friday nights.
Our Bugle Band is back rehearsing with one eye on the Remembrance Sunday Church Parade which takes place on 12 November. Our drill squad has also taken its first steps of the session ahead of the District Drill Competition which we will be hosting at the start of December.
A few Company Section boys took part in the District Sports Competition at Scotstoun Stadium in early-October, which sees boys competing across a range of track and field events, and next up will be the District Laser Quest Competition in early-November.
With the October holidays this session accounting for two Friday nights, we took the opportunity to join with Junior Section for an evening of tenpin bowling at Braehead. The quality of the bowling on display was varied at best but it was at least competitive!
