Junior Section – Summer 2025

Another successful session came to a close as the Junior Section joined with the Company Section for our annual Inspection and Display on May 16th. The evening featured a variety of contributions from the boys, including an impressive figure marching routine set to the classic 1970s hit Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough. The audience also enjoyed getting involved in some of our usual fun, interactive games!

The evening concluded with our prizegiving ceremony, where a number of boys were recognised for their achievements. Notably, perfect attendance awards were presented to Callum, Isaac, Craig, and Ethan.

Special mentions also go to Callum, who took home the Figure Marching Award, and to Isaac, who received the PE Award for the second year running.

Aaron was named Best Junior, and Craig received the overall Best Boy Award. Group Three, led by Craig alongside Ethan, Forbes Calum and Lewis, were awarded Best Group for the session.

Congratulations to all the boys who received awards. A sincere thank you also to members of the congregation for coming along to support the boys – it was greatly appreciated by all involved.

The following day, we enjoyed our annual trip with the Anchor Boys, this year to Heads of Ayr Farm Park. Blessed with sunshine, the boys had a fantastic time exploring the animal enclosures and enjoying both outdoor play areas and indoor soft play.

We now look forward to a well-earned summer break before returning for Session 2025–2026 on Friday 29th August at 6.30pm in the large hall. Boys in P4, P5, and P6 are warmly invited to come along. For more details, please visit www.130thglasgow.co.uk.
