We brought the Anchor Boy session a close on May 9th with our prizegiving ceremony celebrating the boys’ achievements over the course of the year.
All of the boys took home prizes, including almost every boy picking up an attendance award having done such a good job at making it along every Friday.
Just one of our members was promoted to Junior Section on the evening, so we’re looking forward to welcoming back most of our members next session, but there’s still plenty of space for new faces and we’re happy to receive enquiries for boys going into P1, P2 or P3 at any point over the summer.
We rounded things off with our end-of-session day trip to Heads of Ayr Farm Park alongside Junior Section on May 17th.
It proved to be a hugely enjoyable trip with plenty for boys to do across the venue from seeing and feeding the various farm animals to making use of all the play areas throughout the site.
