As the Easter holidays draw to a close we are into the final few weeks of the Anchor Boy session before we finish up for the summer.
Before the holidays, boys took part in a number of activities covering a typically diverse range of themes.
With the Formula One season now well underway, we had an evening themed around racing cars, with boys enjoying a game of racing car bingo, and learning what all the various coloured flags mean during a race – so if you want to know what it means when a driver gets “meatballed” – ask an Anchor Boy!
We also focused on the story of Easter with boys learning about the significance of Easter eggs, and completing their own piece of stained-glass window-style Easter art.
More fun will follow as we enter May, and we’ll bring the session to a close with our prizegiving ceremony on May 9th, ahead of our end-of-session day-trip with Junior Section to Heads of Ayr Park on Saturday, May 17th.
