The session is now in full swing and the new boys in the section have settled well. Our youngest members have now started working towards the bronze badge, with our older boys also starting to complete their achievement awards with the aim of gaining their silver and gold badges.
As well as our regular Friday meetings, we had nine boys who participated in the District Sports at Scotstoun in early October, with lots of medals won and a special well done to Isaac who finished as the intermediate age group overall champion.
Looking ahead, November sees our first uniformed organisations’ service and parade of the session, held on Remembrance Sunday on November 10. This is an important event for Junior Section, and we’ll also be hoping for good weather for the march past after the service.
