Thanks go to everyone who attended the Company’s Prizegiving Ceremony on 13 May.
The night was usually the point at which we hold our Annual Inspection and Display, but having opted for a simpler event this year, it was a welcome opportunity to celebrate boys’ achievements.
In particular, congratulations go to Angus Happell, who received his President’s Badge, and to our three most senior boys – Thomas Grant, Lewis Happell and Dakota Sattar – who received the Queen’s Badge, the highest award in the Brigade.
Thomas, Lewis and Dakota have been working on the various elements of the award for the past two sessions, despite the restrictions of the pandemic, and on 14 June will be joining other boys from across the city for their Queen’s Badge Presentation Ceremony at Glasgow City Chambers.
The evening also marked the end of their time as boys in the Company, and they each received commemorative bibles to mark their years of service.
With the prizegiving having brought the BB year to an end, we’ll soon begin planning for BB session 2022-23, which will begin with enrolment on Friday, 2 September.
Company Section is open to all boys between the school ages of P7 and S6, and anyone attending will be made most welcome.
