About Us

The 130th Glasgow Company, The Boys' Brigade is a youth organisation based in Broomhill in the west end of Glasgow, Scotland. Our three age sections all meet on Friday nights during school term time and membership is open to boys between the ages of 5 and 18. Each section runs a packed but varied programme of activities and events that is not only energetic but challenging and enjoyable.

Anchor Boys February 2018

The second half of our Anchor Boy year is now under way. We enjoyed meeting up with the boys after the break and hearing about the wide range of exciting Christmas gifts that they had received.

Our first topic was "winter" and we had various crafts, games and a story that were winter related. The boys were given the challenge of finding where snow features in the Bible. Since then we have had a games evening and are looking forward to having our own Burns Night celebrations.

All the boys did well in the recent Glasgow Battalion colouring competition and were rewarded with a certificate. In our local Partick District colouring competition, congratulations go to Jamie Allan who came second in the P2 section.

We are still able to accept new members. Any boy in Primary 1, 2 or 3 is very welcome to come for a fun filled hour on Friday evenings between 6.30 and 7.30 pm in the small hall of the church.
