About Us

The 130th Glasgow Company, The Boys' Brigade is a youth organisation based in Broomhill in the west end of Glasgow, Scotland. Our three age sections all meet on Friday nights during school term time and membership is open to boys between the ages of 5 and 18. Each section runs a packed but varied programme of activities and events that is not only energetic but challenging and enjoyable.

Anchor Boys May 2017

Following our Parents' Evening the boys had a great morning at the Boys' Brigade headquarters at Ibrox . They met up with many other Anchor Boys from across the city and had a special Lego Morning. They were given various challenges and had a fantastic time. The next day we took part in the Parade after the Morning Worship with the Youth Organisations.

Our last Friday evening together was dedicated to crafts and the boys made cards and gifts for Mother's Day.

At present we are looking forward to our annual outing with the Junior Section. In mid May we shall be going to the Almond Valley Heritage Centre, a firm favourite with the boys.

The trip on a narrow gauge railway and a tractor ride are among the highlights. There are lots of animals to see and outdoor activities including play areas and trampolines.
